More about Jo ......
After 20+ years in the corporate world, I arrived at a turning point in my life - I chose to stop doing the work that didn't inspire me and took a leap of faith into the unknown. I quit my job, studied to become a Massage Therapist and fell into caregiving. I completely fell in love with the work and it felt so natural. I discovered my true purpose in life - to be of service to others. I rediscovered my own heart. I have since developed the skills both as a therapist and a caregiver having worked in rest home and hospital facilities in aged care and in the homes of people needing care. I have a particular passion for working with people living with dementia and children with special needs. I have to say I love my new way of being, providing person centred care and making a difference in the lives of others. |
